Doctor Who Fans Are Worried That [SPOILERS] Will Die This Season

Tonight's episode of Doctor Who was another fun, if not slightly flawed outing for the new season, which gave Bradley Walsh's Graham a great chance to shine in more than a few moments. So far, he's turning into a real fan favorite, with many finding him to be the most enjoyable of the new companions as a lot of people say that Yaz isn't fleshed out enough and Ryan's hard to root for (though you may feel differently).

Regardless, after this latest installment, some are now fearful that Graham may not stick around for much longer. Taking to Twitter, viewers expressed worry by saying they think the character will ultimately make a heroic sacrifice so he can be with his deceased wife Grace, who died in the season premiere.

Below, you’ll find just a few of the reactions that have surfaced on Twitter:

“I have a horrible feeling Graham is going to die heroically by the end of the series and be reunited with Grace #DoctorWho.”

“I don’t think any of these companions will be going into season 12, but the adventures will have changed their lives for the better #DoctorWho.”

“If Ryan or Graham die when Ryan finally calls him granddad I am going to lose it. #doctorwho.”

“I’m just going to say it now. I think Ryan and Yaz will fall in love, she will die and he and graham will become closer because of it. ORRRRR graham will die and Ryan and Yaz get closer because of that. One of the two @MandipGill #DoctorWho.”

“Just a friendly reminder that Bradley Walsh is absolutely brilliant as Graham and we should protect him at all costs #DoctorWho.”

If you ask us, we don’t think Who will pull the trigger on Graham after killing off his wife, but you never know. After all, Mandip Gill recently hinted that the companions may not last past this season, though the BBC has yet to confirm anything. As such, all we can really do right now is sit back and continue to enjoy this new era of the show.

Speaking of which, Doctor Who will continue next week with the fifth episode of season 11, the promo for which you can view below. It looks set to be an exciting one, too, with the synopsis reading as follows:

Injured and stranded in the wilds of a far-flung galaxy, The Doctor, Yaz, Graham and Ryan must band together with a group of strangers to survive against one of the universe’s most deadly — and unusual — creatures.
