Crisis on Infinite Earths” is set to be one crowded crossover. We’ve now learned that one key figure in DC lore who made her debut in the last crossover will also drop by – Elizabeth Tulloch’s Lois Lane.

Entertainment Weekly broke the news that The Daily Planet’s ace reporter would return for “Crisis,” following her arrival in the Arrowverse in 2018’s “Elseworlds.” You might remember that the last crossover revealed that Lois was expecting and ended with Clark Kent popping the question. Well, we already know that Tyler Hoechlin will feature in the event so it’s no surprise that the Kents’ baby will also be involved in the plot, as confirmed by EW.

That’s all we know about the couple’s kid so it remains to be seen whether the Arrowverse will follow on from recent comics and bring Jon Kent, Clark and Lois’ son since the Rebirth era, into the fold. Other continuities have given the pair a daughter or a different son, though, so it depends on where they want to go with it.

And while we’ll have one Lois Lane in the crossover, we’ll be getting at least two Supermen. Alongside Hoechlin’s version, Brandon Routh will also suit up as the Man of Steel again for the first time since 2006’s Superman Returns. This time, though, his character will draw inspiration from Kingdom Come. There are also rumors that Tom Welling will reprise his Smallville iteration of Big Blue, too.

What with the Super-Baby, then, there’s a lot of Kryptonian crossover potential in “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” Surely all of these Supermen can take on Jon Cryer’s Lex Luthor, who’s likewise set to appear, right? We’ll find out for sure when the Arrowverse event kicks off later this year.
