Elseworlds Actor Teases His Return To The Arrowverse

Thrilling as most Arrowverse crossovers have proven to be, they've often been isolated incidents that aren't brought up often afterwards. That's probably because the participating heroes take a sudden break from their own storylines to stave off an alien invasion or something.

When it came to 2018’s “Elseworlds,” however, I felt that one left a more lasting impression. After all, not only did it introduce Batwoman into this continuity, but the three-part prime time extravaganza also saw the all-powerful Monitor acquaint himself with our heroes.

That said, those events served as a springboard for this fall’s crossover, “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” Letting us know that the very pillars of existence are about to shake is none other than the actor portraying the Monitor on the small screen, LaMonica Garrett, who posted the following video on Twitter.

As you can see, Garrett is touring the halls at The CW offices, which are adorned with posters for past crossovers. And though his post contained hashtags for Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman, I’m guessing his Day One Table Read had to do with Arrow in particular.

The reason I’m saying that is because Stephen Amell already hinted at his show’s eighth and final season serving as a prelude of sorts to “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” Yes, it is possible that Garrett could drop by the premieres for some of those other shows, but my gut says he’ll be more of a fixture over on Arrow until it’s crossover time.

In case you’re wondering, Batwoman and Supergirl will be the first Arrowverse shows to premiere this fall, on Sunday, October 6th, to be exact. Then, on Tuesday, October 8th, The Flash enters the fray, with Arrow bringing up the rear one week later on October 15th. Legends of Tomorrow, meanwhile, is being held off until the midseason mark – so maybe January.
