It’s been just a day since HBO debuted that jaw-dropping full trailer for season 7 of Game of Thrones, and it’s left us hungry for anything new that we could find out about the series. Fortunately, Entertainment Weekly have stepped in to sate our craving with a magazine cover feature that reunites the Stark children and takes us behind the scenes of the show.

Seasoned viewers will remember the Starks being scattered across Westeros in the first season, and from there each has carved a path of violence, tragedy and rebellion as they circled to back to one another. Now, as the season 7 trailer promises, each of the Starks is about to face a hugely different set of problems over the course of the upcoming outing. The not-actually-dead-after-all Jon Snow is tightening his grip on the Night’s Watch as the Lord of the North, Sansa is duelling with the slimy and devious Petyr Baelish, Bran is dealing with his weird supernatural powers, and Arya is slowly turning into a complete badass.

This new gallery shows actors Kit Harrington, Sophie Turner, Isaac Hempstead Wright and Maisie Williams casually chilling out in costume on set. After so long working together, they look completely relaxed in each other’s company, their fictional family almost looking like it’s turning into a real one.

The fact that the Stark children have managed to survive the bloody events of seasons 1-6 of Game of Thrones is a testament to their smarts, skill and perseverance. Let’s hope that at least some of them get a happy ending once season 8 concludes this epic tale.

Game of Thrones season 7 premieres on HBO on July 16th.
