For further details on what to expect, here’s the synopsis for the episode – titled “Strange Visitor From Another Planet” – courtesy of the network:

Kara must help Hank face his painful past when a White Martian, a member of the alien race that wiped out his people, kidnaps Senator Miranda Crane (Tawny Cypress), an anti-alien politician. Also, Cat’s estranged son, Adam (Blake Jenner), arrives in National City, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, January 25th on CBS.

The CGI which is being utilized for the White Martian is definitely impressive, though by far the coolest moment in this extended promo is the shot of Supergirl running into an elevator and tearing open her shirt to reveal that iconic logo. That’s classic Superman, and a great nod to the character’s history.

If you can’t already tell, it’s going to be a lot of fun seeing Kara team up with Martian Manhunter to take on this new threat in next week’s Supergirl, and we can’t wait to watch how the episode unfolds.
