First Images From Supergirl/The Flash/Arrow/DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Crossover Emerge

The four-way crossover involving Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow has been the talk of the town for a while now. It's not just because it's cool to see so many heroes band together to thwart a hostile alien threat, it's also due to the fact that a crossover of this magnitude is unprecedented in the history of television.

The four-way crossover involving SupergirlThe Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has been the talk of the town for a while now. It’s not just because it’s cool to see so many heroes band together to thwart a hostile alien threat, it’s also due to the fact that a crossover of this magnitude is unprecedented in the history of television.

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we now have our first look at this mega event via a handful of photos. Some of them are merely fun shots featuring Grant Gustin, Stephen Amell and Melissa Benoist taken specifically for the magazine, but others offer a few glimpses at the episodes themselves.

While the eye may gravitate toward Citizen Steel donning superhero duds for the first time (if he doesn’t do so in an episode before then) or Ray Palmer apparently returning to his Atom persona, the photo that stuck out most to me was the one featuring the Lance sisters, Laurel and Sara.

It was previously stated that Katie Cassidy would not be returning as Laurel until the midseason premiere of Arrow, so this is a bit of a head scratcher. Let’s not forget that Arrow’s 100th episode falls in the middle of the crossover, so this could be pulled from a flashback – or it could be from Legends. Either way, it’s one of a million reasons to tune in.

Be sure to join Supergirl and the rest of the crew when the “Invasion!” commences later this month on The CW.
