March 18 can mean but one thing for Marvel’s ever-active production line – the arrival of Daredevil season 2.

Continuing the troubled journey of Charlie Cox’s Man Without Fear, all signs point to a return to form for the studio’s crime noir, and it even includes a treat at the tail-end of the season. Ever the champions of post-credit stings, Marvel has included the very first teaser trailer for Luke Cage, Mike Colter’s musclebound hero for hire.

It is, as expected, a fleeting snippet to prep fans for the show’s September debut, featuring Colter’s hulking ex-con walking into gunfire unfazed. “I guess you guys haven’t heard about me.” Cue bullets tearing his new threads to pieces. “I’m about sick of always have to buy new clothes,” he growls.

Brief and effective, it’s a wonderful showcase of Cage’s powers – not to mention his world-weary attitude. Should Marvel unveil the teaser officially, we’ll be sure to update this post with the video embed, but until then, drop your early impressions of the sizzling hot sizzle reel below.

Mike Colter’s hero for hire will make his standalone when Luke Cage premieres on September 30. Mahershala Ali, Alfe Woodard, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, and Frank Whaley also star. The official artwork also reared its head, and you can find that below as well.
