Meet “The New Rogues” In This Extended Trailer For The Flash

It comes as no surprise that The Flash continues to astonish in what has so far been a thoroughly entertaining third season. And, if this newly released extended trailer for next week's episode, "The New Rogues," properly reflects how awesome that offering may be, then it's probably safe to say the trend will continue.

It comes as no surprise that The Flash continues to astonish in what has so far been a thoroughly entertaining third season. And, if this newly released extended trailer for next week’s episode, “The New Rogues,” properly reflects how awesome that offering may be, then it’s probably safe to say the trend will continue.

A major draw in this particular episode comes in the form of Mirror Master making his long awaited debut. You see, he happens to be one of the quintessential Flash villains from the comic books, so it comes as somewhat of a surprise the producers have waited this long to incorporate him. But, then again, it’s also reassuring to know that not every resource was jammed into the first season or two and there’s still much to be tapped as the series races toward a prosperous future.

Surprisingly enough, the trailer excludes the returning Captain Cold. We can only assume his involvement has something to do with the effects of “Flashpoint” and any answers we get by tuning in will be more than welcome, considering that Wentworth Miller is now a series regular on every show in the Arrowverse.

For more information, be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

WENTWORTH MILLER RETURNS AS CAPTAIN COLD; MIRROR MASTER AND THE TOP BATTLE WITH THE FLASH — Barry (Grant Gustin) continues to train Jesse (guest star Violett Beane) and when a new meta human, Mirror Master (guest star Grey Damon), appears on the scene he lets her tag along. Mirror Master has teamed up with his old partner, Top (guest star Ashley Rickards), and is looking for Snart (Wentworth Miller) to even a score. Jesse is quick to join the chase but defies one of Barry’s orders which results in disastrous consequences. Stefan Pleszczynski directed the episode written by Benjamin Raab & Deric A. Hughes.

The Flash airs on Tuesday nights on The CW.
