The Flash Season 4 Premiere Title Unveiled

Although our favorite DC TV shows won't begin airing new episodes for another three months, it's time for the cast and crew of The Flash to get back to work. Believe it or not, this is actually the time of year when this and other series get going in order to make sure post-production wraps well in advance of their respective premieres. You didn't think those spectacular visual effects were thrown together overnight, now did you?

Although our favorite DC TV shows won’t begin airing new episodes for another three months, it’s time for the cast and crew of The Flash to get back to work. Believe it or not, this is actually the time of year when this and other series get going in order to make sure post-production wraps well in advance of their respective premieres. You didn’t think those spectacular visual effects were thrown together overnight, now did you?

Truth be told, aside from a brief synopsis that recently surfaced, we probably won’t get more details regarding what lies ahead for the S.T.A.R. Labs crew until San Diego Comic-Con rolls around in a few weeks. But, thanks to the official Twitter page for The Flash production office, we’re able to open the floor to more speculation.

As it turns out, the talented people behind and in front of the camera won’t be grilling burgers and hot dogs for the 4th of July, but will instead be hard at work bringing us the next leg of the Scarlet Speedster’s journey. Here’s the photo that was shared by the team, accompanied with the caption: Ready for our first day of filming Season 4! We get started tomorrow, and it’s gonna be epic!

From that, we can see the season premiere will be titled “The Flash Reborn.” Honestly, it would’ve been a bit more awesome had they called it “The Flash Rebirth” given what’s been going on in the comics for the past year, but we can’t really complain.

With Barry Allen currently residing in the Speed Force, this cryptic title leads us to believe that he may return to Central City a changed man. Hopefully, that means he’ll finally don a new costume, as all those around him having been sporting cooler threads of late. After all, we did lay our eyes upon an upgraded suit when he met his future self a few months back, but it remains to be seen if the costuming department hung onto that or if they have something new prepared.

The Flash returns for its fourth season on Tuesday, October 10 on The CW. Will you be tuning in? Let us know in the usual place!
