‘For me, scooping my own ice cream sucks’: Charity’s date with Warwick confirmed as the worst in ‘Bachelorette’ history

You could cut the tension with a knife.

Bachelorette fans are losing it on TikTok over an awkward date from Monday’s episode. Charity went on a one-on-one date with Warwick, which already served as a surprise to contestants and viewers alike. Nevertheless, Charity said Warwick Reider had “caught [her] eye,” and toasted to “being vulnerable and opening up.”

The pair visited San Diego’s Belmont Park and had an ice cream date. However, the idea of “being vulnerable and opening up” proved less than successful.

It started going downhill when Charity had to scoop her own ice cream. then each question she asked him was met with a series of “ums” and “I don’t knows.” Needless to say, Warwick went home that night.

@ValentinaXOXOXO shared a clip of the awkward date on TikTok calling it, “The most awkward date in Bachelorette history” and commenters were quick to chime in, with one Bachelorette alum even saying, “And I couldn’t even get a date lol.”

Some commenters were harsh, saying “Do men actually think women like this,” and “Way to sell yourself, buddy.” Others gave Warwick a little more sympathy by commenting “He looks like he wants to cry” and “I felt so bad for both of them.”

After this week’s episode and elimination Warwick will head back home to Nashville, Tennessee where the 27-year-old works as a construction manager.

With this much to talk about after just three episodes, Bachelorette season 20 is sure to be an interesting one. Fans can tune in on Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on ABC or on Hulu + Live TV.
