With the highly anticipated crossover between Supergirl and The Flash just one week away, DC Comics fans have even more to look forward to in the former thanks to the announcement that Maxima is coming to National City. The character will first appear in the show’s nineteenth episode, which is titled “Myriad.”

The official synopsis released by CBS doesn’t shed any light on what sort of role the villain will play, but we do know that former WWE Diva Eve Torres is stepping into the role.

Kara must find a way to free her friends when Non (Chris Vance) and Indigo (Laura Vandervoort) use mind control to turn National City’s citizens into their own army, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, April 11 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Many wrestlers have made a leap into the acting real (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is obviously the biggest success story), and it was only a few weeks ago that current WWE Superstar The Miz showed up in Supernatural on The CW. Retired WWE Hall of Famer Edge was also in the season two premiere of The Flash.

It remains to be seen what Maxima will be getting up to in Supergirl, but if she’s anything like her comic book counterpart, she’ll be searching for a suitable mate.
