Bastards have battled, sieges have been waged and dragons have taken flight but come Sunday, HBO will bring the curtain down on Game of Thrones season 6 with “The Winds of Winters,” the longest episode in the fantasy epic to date.

Clocking in at 69 minutes in length, the network is primed to follow up “The Battle of the Bastards” in show-stopping fashion, and in today’s series of images for said finale, we get fresh looks at Jaime Lannister dining with the Freys, Tyrion and Daenerys talking tactics following their allegiance with the key members of the Iron Islands, and Bran, who was last seen far north of the Wall with Meera and one Benjin Stark.

Finally, it appears Loras Tyrell will finally face trial under the watchful eye of the High Sparrow. Surrounded on all corners by the Faith Militant, things appear grim for our dishevelled knight, and considering that Cersei could be facing a similar fate – providing her assailants can get past The Mountain – “The Winds of Winter” has all the makings of a defining episode of Game of Thrones, even if no significant battle scenes take place after Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton’s mesmerizing clash last week.

Rally the realm! Game of Thrones season 6 concludes with “The Winds of Winter” on Sunday, June 26.
