Did Bran Stark Just Spoil His Own Death In Game of Thrones?

This Game of Thrones theory suggests that because of something Bran Star said in last week's episode, he may have just spoiled his own death.

Game of Thrones and Avengers fans are going to need some serious hugs after this weekend’s over. Most of us are pretty socially awkward though, so you might have to use some nerdy Jedi mind trick to earn those affectionate squeezes.

Between the battle for the universe and the Battle of Winterfell, there’s going to be a whole lot of death, destruction and freaking out. Since Avengers: Endgame has been out for a few days already, it’s starting to become known who lives and who dies there, but with Sunday not here yet, there’s no shortage of theories as to who’ll make it through the next episode of Game of Thrones.

And thanks to one line uttered by Bran Stark in last week’s outing, there are some who believe he may not live to see the end of the next installment. If you’ll recall, when Jaime and Bran have yet another one of their awkward little meetings, Bran promises him that he won’t tell people it was the Lannister brother who put the Stark brother in his wheelchair. Jaime, of course, wants to know what will happen after the battle.

“What about afterwards?” he asks him.

“How do you know there is an afterwards?” replies Bran.

That line could mean several things. First, Bran could just be implying that only he truly knows what will happen after the battle. But what if that was him admitting, mistakenly maybe, that he can’t see past the fighting because he died? After all, the only reason a Three-Eyed Raven couldn’t see the future is if he isn’t around to be there.

Besides, we also now know the Night King‘s real reason for coming to Westeros is to kill Bran, so it might be a good idea to get emotionally prepared to say goodbye to Jon Snow’s creepy little brother when Game of Thrones returns tomorrow night.
