Girls Season 6 Trailer Brings All The Drama

This February laments the end of Girls. After this year's surprisingly exceptional season, the Lena Dunham-headed HBO series looks as if it's finally finding its stride just before its time to call it quits in season 6, not unlike its central characters. But since this is, indeed, the final season, there's no doubt that it's going to be a hellfire of drama unleashed upon our central four gals, and that's certainly guaranteed based on this new, full-length trailer.

This February laments the end of Girls. After this year’s surprisingly exceptional season, the Lena Dunham-headed HBO series looks as if it’s finally finding its stride just before it’s time to call it quits in season 6, not unlike its central characters. But, since this is indeed the final season, there’s no doubt that there’s going to be a hellfire of drama unleashed upon our central four gals, and that’s certainly guaranteed based on this new, full-length trailer.

Season 5 found Hannah (Dunham), Marnie (Allison Williams), Jessa (Jemima Kirke) and Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) at odds with one another as their lives continued to diverge into separate paths. Based on this new trailer, however, it looks as if these four will have to battle their differences head-on, and in the bathroom, of all places. And none of them want to be together, which seems to be the only thing they can all agree upon these days. But just as surely as there will be relationship woes, there should also be be some forgiving and bonding in the new season. Hopefully, the girls put aside their troubles before the series wraps up its final ten episodes.

For those of us who watched Girls from the beginning, this final season does feel like the end of an era. Some folks, like myself, started their collage years watching these characters come into their own, and as such, it’s sorrowful, and hopefully even cathartic, to see them end their stories for good. In the up-and-down world of Girls, hopefully Dunham and her team finds themselves swinging high for their final chapter.

Girls also stars Adam Driver, Alex Karpovsky, Andrew Rannells and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Tell us, are you looking forward to the final season, or are you relieved that it’s finally over? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below.
