Gypsy Will Be A Recurring Character In The Flash Season 4

Even though we have several exciting new additions to the cast of The Flash to look forward to meeting this fall, there are those who have been already established that we hope to see return. Outside of the principal cast, there have been those such as Jesse Quick whom we’ve grown accustomed to seeing every now and then, and, admittedly, it’s becoming increasingly hard to imagine the show without.

Another character that some viewers may place in that category is that of Gypsy, played by Jessica Camacho. In this series, she’s a bounty hunter of sorts originating from Earth-19 – the very same one that’s home to the late H.R. Wells – and possesses the ability to travel between dimensions with powers not unlike S.T.A.R. Labs’ own Cisco Ramon, also known as Vibe.

So, if you’ve taken a shine to her, then you should be thrilled to learn that you’ll be seeing a bit more of the character in the coming year. According to TV Guide Magazine’s Comic-Con Special, which contained some comments made by executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, Camacho will return in a recurring role, but not as a series regular. And while she may not be popping up as often as a certain villain set to appear over on Arrow, this does bode well for her fans. When it comes to the “shippers” among them, it stands to reason that they, too, will be satisfied, as one would imagine she’ll rekindle her romance of sorts with Cisco.

The Flash returns for its fourth season on Tuesday, October 10 on The CW.
