The official description has been released for the seventh episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s third season, and it promises a shocking revelation about one of the show’s villains. There are any number of characters that could be referring to, though with Matthew Willig listed as a guest star for this instalment, chances are we’re about to learn more about Lash.
Regardless, here’s the description for the episode – titled “Chaos Theory” – courtesy of ABC:
As Agent Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) and the team fight to protect Inhumans, S.H.I.E.L.D. discovers the shocking truth about one of their biggest foes. Meanwhile, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) helps Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) recover information that could lead them back through the portal.
Sounds pretty intriguing, eh? Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. got off to something of a rocky start back in 2013, but season three has been receiving rave reviews, and that has a lot to do with the show’s decision to finally embrace superpowers (a necessity when you consider the fact that shows like The Flash and Supergirl are on the air).
Lash is a fairly new character in the comics, so what exactly this revelation might be is hard to say right now. Check back here later tonight though for a promo for next week’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, as we’ll be sure to post it once its available.
