The season premiere of Agent Carter is a little over a week away, and ABC and Marvel have today released the first official images from the second episode (they’ll be airing two instalments back to back on the same night). This lot focuses on Peggy and Jarvis, the fan-favourite duo who fans fell in love with during the well-received first season (which unfortunately didn’t end up making a huge impact in terms of ratings).

Here’s the official synopsis for the episode – titled “A View in the Dark” – courtesy of ABC:

AGENT PEGGY CARTER UNCOVERS SECRETS THAT PUT EVERYONE IN PERIL, ON “MARVEL’S AGENT CARTER” ON ABC – Peggy discovers her murder investigation has huge ramifications that can destroy her career, as well as everyone near and dear to her, on “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” TUESDAY, JANUARY 19 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST) on the ABC Television Network.

With the action moving from New York to Los Angeles, the second season of Agent Carter looks set to be shaken up in a major way, and when you throw in the addition of villains like Madame Masque, there’s definitely a lot to look forward to.
