Arrowverse Fans React To Ruby Rose’s Debut As Batwoman On Elseworlds

At long last, Ruby Rose made her big debut as Batwoman in the Arrowvere tonight on "Elseworlds" and fans seemed to love her.

Now that the first and second parts of the “Elseworlds” crossover epic are behind us, it’s not too much of a stretch to say that this might go down as the Arrowverse’s best mega event to date. True, it faces stiff competition in what came before – especially “Crisis on Earth-X” – but there’s been so much fan service delivered and more than enough exhilarating moments that people just can’t stop talking about.

This year’s mashup is a bit more personal due to Oliver Queen and Barry Allen trading places as Green Arrow and the Flash, but that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been room for the other heroes. Supergirl and Superman have both been involved, of course, and so has a brand new hero: Ruby Rose’s Batwoman. Yes, The CW finally introduced Kate Kane into the Arrowverse and after having made her big debut tonight, it seems the network is onto a winner here.

Fans have taken to Twitter following part 2 of “Elseworlds” to shower praise on Rose, with everyone looking forward to seeing more of her in the role.

No doubt, The CW must be pretty damn happy right about now. Batwoman’s debut had a lot of hype around it, especially since the network is also eyeing a solo series for her, so to see that she’s a big hit with fans must come as a relief. Not that we had any doubt, mind you. The general consensus on Ruby Rose as Kate Kane was always pretty positive, but it’s still nice to hear that folks are reacting so positively to her.

There’s still more to come, too, as “Elseworlds” continues tomorrow night and for a taste of what’s in store, check out the official synopsis below:

THE BATTLE CONCLUDES — Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin), Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell) and Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) engage in the battle of their lives. Jesse Warn directed the episode with story by Marc Guggenheim and teleplay by Derek Simon & Robert Rovner (#409).

Elseworlds” continues on Tuesday, December 11th on Supergirl. And given how fantastic the first two parts have been, you won’t want to miss what’s sure to be an epic conclusion.
