For the longest time, it seemed like word had gone silent on the Clown Princess of Crime’s headlining gig. But to my delight, New York Comic Con gifted us with the first teaser trailer confirming The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco in the titular role.

Naturally, one would expect for more colorful characters originating from Gotham City to show up at some point, as the aforementioned video also let us know of how Poison Ivy will be voiced by Lake Bell, in addition to Diedrich Bader reprising the role of Batman years after The Brave and the Bold concluded.

Well, joining them will be none other than Rahul Kohli, who’ll be lending his pipes to the Master of Fear himself, the Scarecrow. In fact, he confirmed his new job via the following Twitter post:

“Well I’ve been given the go ahead to let you guys know one of the new projects I’ve been working on! Mans is the voice of SCARECROW!”

If Kohli’s name sounds familiar to you, it should, because he’s been a series regular on The CW’s iZombie from the very beginning. But considering how that show’s fifth season will be its last, it’s nice to hear that Rahul will stay within the DC TV family in another capacity.

Right now, DC Universe’s Harley Quinn lacks a concrete premiere date, but recent news let us know that an October 2019 kickoff time is most likely.
