Jeremiah Valeska Features In New Gotham Images

After being forced to take a week off due to the NFL Draft, Gotham looks to make a strong return with "A Dark Knight: That Old Corpse" in a matter of days. And with only three episodes remaining in the current season, would you expect anything less than sheer intensity?

After having viewed a thrilling trailer that teased Jerome Valeska’s Last Will and Testament which demands Jim Gordon host a wake for the recently departed villain at that GCPD, it’s refreshing to see that the promo images released in advance of this week’s installment offer some different perspectives on the next chapter in the saga.

In fact, there are minor hints at that particular slice of mayhem, as the accompanying gallery shows Harvey Bullock rounding up the troops, in addition to Gordon watching Jerome’s video on a monitor. Still, it appears as though there’ll be a lot more going on.

For starters, Jerome’s twin and would be successor in supervillainy, Jeremiah, can be seen bereft of his Joker-like appearance, forcing me to think two personalities will soon be duking it out inside his head. What’s more is that he’s hanging out with Bruce Wayne, so that makes it all the more awkward knowing the enemies these two are fated to become.

If you require more info regarding this week’s episode, be sure to check out the official synopsis:

Chaos erupts at the GCPD, sending Gordon on a wild goose chase for the culprit behind the mass takeover. Meanwhile, a friend of Bruce’s becomes paranoid, resulting in rash and destructive behavior in the all-new “A Dark Knight: That Old Corpse” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, May 3 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Gotham airs on Thursday nights on Fox.
