Jesse Quick’s Legends Of Tomorrow Role Will Be Surprising For Fans
After only a brief cameo appearance so far this season, Earth-2’s resident speedster Jesse Quick will return to The Flash in tonight’s episode, “Enter Flashtime.” What’s more, this will be the first of two guest spots in the Arrowverse this month, as the character will jump over to Legends of Tomorrow for the first time in a couple of weeks.
While speaking with TVLine, actress Violett Beane – who’s played Jesse on The Flash since season 2 – briefly teased what she could about her character’s turn on Legends, which will be on the upcoming episode titled “Necromancing the Stone.” Fans will remember that the last time we saw Jesse, she broke things off with her boyfriend Wally West via a “break-up cube.” Now that Wally’s a Legend, though, Jesse’s appearance is bound to deal with their unfinished business.
“You see Wally and Jesse together in a room, and things are not what you expect them to be. And… that’s about all I can say! [Laughs] It’s going to be cool and, I think, pretty surprising for the audience.”
This upcoming Legends of Tomorrow episode looks set to be a juicy treat for fans. Not only does it feature Jesse’s debut on the show, but it also sees the return of Matt Ryan’s John Constantine, following his appearance in the midseason premiere and ahead of his role in the season 3 finale.
The synopsis for the episode teases that it will be an important one for the ongoing storyline, too, involving Mallus and the Zambezi Totems, and significant roles for both Sara and Rory.
When Mallus’ power over Sara resurfaces, she unwittingly becomes the bearer of one of the Totems. Rory must conquer his dark side in order to wield his own Totem power to help save the crew. Meanwhile, Agent Sharpe notices that something is wrong and recruits someone unorthodox to help
Be sure to catch Jesse Quick’s return to The Flash tonight and her Legends of Tomorrow appearance on March 19th.
