While we know that season two of Daredevil will reach Netflix on March 18th, Marvel has yet to announce when Luke Cage is going to hit the online streaming service. However, the teaser image below (which comes from the Jessica Jones Twitter account) points to the highly anticipated series premiering this November.

That makes perfect sense, as it’s the same month in which Jessica Jones reached Netflix last year.

Luke Cage picks up with him as a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. However, he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury. Not much else is known beyond that, but it’s been confirmed that it takes place after the events of Jessica Jones and will feature flashback’s to the character’s origin story.

As well as Mike Colter as Luke Cage, the show will feature Simone Missick as Misty Knight, a police detective determined to learn the truth about Cage; Theo Rossi as Shades, a ruthless criminal from Cage’s past; Frank Whaley as Rafael Scarfe, Misty’s partner; and the returning Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.
