Kevin Feige Confirms Agatha Harkness’ Return To The MCU

"Someday. Someday soon."

Fans of Marvel’s Disney+ series WandaVision may be treated with the return of a fan-favorite character later in the MCU according to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.

In an interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Feige shared that WandaVision’s ultimate villain Agatha Harkness, portrayed masterfully by actress Kathryn Hahn will be returning “someday soon.”

“You will see Kathryn Han in Knives Out 2 next, then maybe an assortment of other things,” Feige said. “But within the MCU, it can’t come soon enough let’s put it that way.”

Those who have checked out WandaVision will be aware of Harkness’s situation at the conclusion of the series having her magic stripped and seemingly being stuck in Westview, but, as Feige hints, Harkness will likely play a bigger role in the MCU as fans had expected from the series. During its run, Marvel fans had hoped to see who was pulling the strings and influencing Harkness during the show, with popular theories picking Marvel comics Mephisto as the likely suspect, but the show never revealed any higher power that was in charge.

With Harkness making her return it could be the perfect way for Marvel to pay off these theories and bring some of the more powerful magical figures into the MCU as fans expect to see in Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness in 2022.

Right now there is no indication of what could be Han’s return to the role of Harkness in the MCU following the success of WandaVision, but with her undeniable stardom, it will likely be a major role.
