Supernatural Season 13

Lauren Cohan Would Love To Return For Supernatural’s Final Season

Every Supernatural fan knows that "dead" doesn't always mean dead on the show. Unless we're talking about the death of the series, which is unfortunately coming to an end next season. But pretty much every character currently alive has died at least once, and look at them now.

Every Supernatural fan knows that “dead” doesn’t always mean dead on the show. Unless we’re talking about the death of the series, which is unfortunately coming to an end next season. But pretty much every character currently alive has died at least once, and look at them now.

Lauren Cohan’s Bela Talbot met her end in season 3 of the immensely popular and long-running show after making a deal with a demon that even her smooth talking, negotiating self couldn’t get out of. She met her grisly demise with a little help from a hell hound, and remains dead to this day. But could that change? Hell to the yes it could; this is Supernatural!

While speaking with Collider recently, Cohan was asked whether or not she’d like to reprise her role as Bela before the show ends next year, and her answer is music to the ears of any long-time Supernatural (and Lauren Cohan) fan:

That would be freaking amazing! I was so jealous Jeffery Dean Morgan said he was off doing the 300th episode. I love those guys, and I loved my time on that show.”

Her TWD & Supernatural co-star, Morgan, has seen John Winchester return from the great blue yonder many times in the show, in one form or another, so why couldn’t Bela Talbot do the same? Seeing her wheel and deal Dean Winchester on the series, personally, was my first chance to ever witness the actress in action. Turns out, here’s why:

That was my first TV experience, and my first job in the United States . . . It was also my first time putting a foot into the immensely strong fan base for Supernatural . . . It was a first for me, for so many things. So, with absolute gusto, I would love to go back.

Supernatural airs Thursdays on The CW and will continue this week with its season finale, “Moriah.”
