‘Loki’ season 2 report hints Marvel won’t be able to avoid its Jonathan Majors problem for much longer

His existence will have to be acknowledged.

Carrying on the party line that’s been its go-to response since the very beginning, Marvel Studios once again refused to comment when asked to respond to the latest bombshell allegations being made against Jonathan Majors, but time is running out for the company to handle the situation.

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars may have been delayed for a year apiece, but season 2 of Loki is locked in for an October 6 debut on Disney Plus, with Majors’ Kang the Conqueror variant Victor Timely set to appear as established in the post-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

He might have been omitted from the marketing of his franchise debut, excised from its Disney Plus synopsis, and almost definitely served as the catalyst behind the indefinite delay of the Quantumania behind the scenes special, but a new report from The Cosmic Circus offers that Majors has a substantial presence in a huge action sequence that’s set to be pivotal to Loki‘s sophomore run.

The set piece in question will reportedly feature Timely, Tom Hiddleston’s title hero, Owen Wilson’s Mobius, and Miss Minutes herself, picking up directly after the Ant-Man 3 stinger. Silence can only be golden for so long, and with three months to go until Majors makes his return to the screen in a blockbuster MCU series, the speculation on his short and long-term future as part of the all-conquering superhero sandbox is only set to intensify between now and then, provided a decision isn’t made beforehand.
