Not that this is official promotional material for the show, but the Jessica Jones Twitter account has posted a previously unreleased character banner of Mike Colter’s Luke Cage, which could well serve as a teaser for his upcoming solo series on Netflix.
You’ll also notice the very Purple Rain-like font that’s used for “Luke” in the bottom right corner. Could this be an indication of how the show’s official logo will look, perhaps?
Cage’s solo outing will pick things up with the indestructible former bartender some time after the events of Jessica Jones, and will deal with his attempts to keep a low profile while also keeping tabs on a bunch of very dangerous faces from his past that have set up shop in Harlem.
Luke Cage will also star Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Theo Rossi as Shades, Frank Whaley as Rafael Scarfe, and the returning Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple. Though an official premiere date has yet to be announced, this teaser image from a few weeks back certainly seems to hint that it’ll land sometime in November.
