The last batch of set snaps from Marvel and Netflix’s currently shooting Luke Cage series featured Mike Colter sweeping up outside a barber shop, but ol’ Power Man has evidently moved up in the world if these latest images are anything to go by.

The photos were taken as Luke Cage filmed in Harlem, and give us a look at Colter suited and booted as the titular Marvel superhero, taking a little stroll. When we meet Cage in Jessica Jones – which premiers in just a few days – he’ll be an ex-con trying to keep a low profile as a barman. But as we know from a previous interview with the actor, whatever takes him to Harlem eventually awakens the hero inside him, and he begins to mix it up with some bad guys.

The show still doesn’t have an official release date, but is expected to debut at some point in 2016. Check out the synopsis below:

After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city–forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.

Also starring  Mahershala Ali (Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple ), Simone Missick (Misty Knight ), Theo Rossi (Alvarez), and Alfre Woodard (Mariah Dillard), Marvel’s Luke Cage is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix, and has Cheo Hodari Coker on board as showrunner.
