Revealed by Mike Colter himself during Marvel’s blood-red carpet event for Daredevil, the actor confirmed that his muscle for hire will flex his stuff in his own standalone series come September 30.

You can catch Colter’s reveal in the video above. Located around the two minute mark, the actor reveals that “Luke Cage [is] going to be action-packed, from beginning to the very end. Trust me. ‘Daredevil’ premieres March 18, and I will see the fans on September 30th.”

Alfre Woodard, Mahershala Ali and Simone Missick are among the core cast for Luke Cage’s solo series, and fans of Jessica Jones will have already been introduced to Colter’s humble giant. Could we potentially see Krysten Ritter’s private eye journey in the other direction? Time will tell.

In light of today’s confirmation, expect all 13 episodes of the inaugural season of Luke Cage to pummel their way onto Netflix on September 30. The question now is, will we be catching a glimpse of Finn Jones’s rendition of Danny Rand AKA Iron Fist? Stay tuned for more.
