Martian Manhunter Meets Miss Martian In New Clip From Tomorrow’s Supergirl

In last week's episode of Supergirl, Superman returned home to Metropolis. While it was sad to see the Man of Steel go, there's still plenty to look forward to when tomorrow's episode airs on The CW, including the fact that Lynda Carter is going to be making a guest appearance as the President of the United States.

She doesn’t feature in the clip above, but we do get to see another very interesting development. For reasons unknown, Martian Manhunter pays a visit to a National City bar which seems to cater exclusively to aliens and comes across a young woman who looks very familiar to him. Who is she? Well, the network has already confirmed that it’s Miss Martian.

In the comic books, she was portrayed as a young White Martian that travelled to Earth to follow in the footsteps of the Martian Manhunter. However, she struggles with her past as a member of a race which is not trusted or well-regarded on Earth (something we saw during Supergirl‘s first season) and is generally associated with the Teen Titans.

This version of the character looks a little older, so it will be interesting to see whether or not she ends up being a love interest for Hank Henshaw in the series. Either way, the presence of another superhero from the comic books should shake Supergirl up in a fairly significant way, especially following the recent arrival of the mysterious Mon-El.
