Marvel Studios inundated with desperate pleas to fix one major issue as ‘Secret Invasion’ enters the home stretch

Everyone is demanding the same thing.

With episode four landing in our laps this Wednesday, that means we’ve now only got two more episodes to go of Secret Invasion. Given that, it’s no surprise that MCU fans desperate for more are flooding Marvel Studios with the same impassioned plea over and over again, in the hopes of preventing an unwanted trend from continuing as the six-part series hurtles towards its conclusion.

You may have noticed that Secret Invasion has, except in one case, got shorter as it’s gone along so far. While episode one was 55 minutes long and episode two was just two minutes shy of a full hour, episode three was just 44 minutes and episode four is even worse at just 38. And with those usual lengthy Disney Plus credits taking off about five minutes and then another couple for the recap, that’s hardly half an hour of fresh footage we got this week.

With Secret Invasion‘s days being numbered, then, folks will not stand for any more of these bite-sized episodes so Twitter is being clogged up with complaints over how short this week’s installment was, as well as requests that the last two be much closer to the first two episodes in length.

You’re not making a sitcom or a Nickelodeon series here, Marvel…

To be fair, this is something of a widespread Disney Plus habit.

Even those who are absolutely loving it can’t handle the brevity.

It’s the one blemish on Secret Invasion‘s otherwise perfect record.

There comes a point where even those who couldn’t care less about runtimes have to stand up and take arms. And Secret Invasion episode four is it.

Given where the latest ep ends up, and the many plot-threads still left dangling, Secret Invasion is going to need two super-sized installments to wrap up the threat of Gravik and his Super-Skrulls in a fully satisfying way. We’ll just have to wait and see as new episodes arrive Wednesdays on Disney Plus.
