After nearly six months of campaigning and pleading with Netflix to revive their beloved series (to no avail) the Halo Bearers have had enough. Getting the silent treatment never sits right with anyone, especially not when you’re putting all your effort into something you’re truly passionate about, like saving your favorite show. Now, viewers are looking at other potential homes for Warrior Nun, and HBO Max seems like the perfect fit.

Very recently, the words “Warrior Nun on HBO Max” have been making constant appearances in fan tweets, alongside the by-now-famous #SaveWarriorNun. This is the Halo Bearers’ new campaigning strategy, as they hope to catch HBO’s attention with a display of numbers and demand.

Accompanying the pleas for HBO Max to pick up the show for a third season, fans are also expressing their reasons for considering Warrior Nun would be a great fit for the platform, making sure to highlight the series’ best qualities and what it means to them.

Without a doubt, Warrior Nun fans more than proved how serious they are about getting a third season green-lit, having displayed a level of effort and dedication we don’t often witness. Yes, many shows get axed by networks all the time, but for fans to unite in such a way and for so long is an incredible feat.

The fandom has been frequently changing tactics, putting up billboards, and switching up hashtags and phrases in order to bring different aspects of the series to attention. With the constant incentives from the showrunner to move things along, Warrior Nun fans may one day see their hard work pay off. If or when that happens, it’ll certainly be deserved.
