These images come courtesy of MakingStarWars.net, and though they’re not of the best quality, you can still make out a man in a brown shirt and suspenders, alongside a woman in a black cloak. There’s been some speculation that this pair is the rumored Carl Weathers of Predator and Rocky fame and the confirmed Gina Carano from Fast & Furious 6 and Deadpool, but given how difficult both of these figures are to make out, it’s hard not to see these guesses as anything other than projection.

Elsewhere in the images, you can see a figure in a brown outfit and a helmet (an ensemble highly reminiscent of the Rebels in Return of the Jedi), along with an armored character who seems to be holding a blaster.

Between these photos and the pics from earlier this week featuring the Death Troopers from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, it’s clear that this is an environment full of characters who are ready for combat. Carano would certainly be right at home in an action-heavy environment like this, and Pedro Pascal of Narcos and Game of Thrones fame generally isn’t one to back away from a fight, either.

Between these two casting announcements and the recent stream of set photos, a picture’s slowly forming of what to expect when The Mandalorian comes to Disney Plus. And with Cassian Andor from Rogue One also confirmed to be getting his own show, it’s looking like 2019 will be a very important year for Lucasfilm on screens big and small.
