As much as I’ve been enjoying Riverdale, I have to admit that I’m growing tired of the network foregoing showing trailers for the next week’s episode of Supernatural in order to remind you to watch a show that’s twenty seconds away from airing. Luckily, you have us to deliver a sneak peek at “Family Feud.”

One thing I’ve learned over the course of the past twelve years is that any given episode of the series can generously add to the ever growing mythology without notice and, just last night, it happened yet again with the introduction of the Princes of Hell. Not only that, but it looked like that was indeed Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer in Crowley’s cage.

Looking forward, I’m really interested to see where the producers are going with this child of Lucifer storyline. As we can see in the footage provided, Kelly is already starting to show and, hear me out, because I wouldn’t doubt if this pregnancy doesn’t last the usual nine months. Keep in mind the season finale is three months away and the birth of such a nephilim has “cliffhanger” written all over it. But before we get there, we’ll just have to see what next week brings.

For more information, be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

When Sam and Dean look into a murder at a museum, they learn a ghost from a merchant ship that sunk in 1723 may be at the heart of the mystery. After realizing “The Star” was the same ship that Crowley’s son Gavin MacLeod (guest star Theo Devaney) should have been aboard, they enlist help from Rowena to track Gavin down. Kelly Kline (guest star Courtney Ford), still pregnant with Lucifer’s child, takes refuge with a demon after an angel attempts to kill her.

Supernatural airs on Thursday nights on The CW.
