Ever since Fox cancelled the cult comedy show Arrested Development in 2006, fans have dreamed of a fourth season, or at the very least a movie. It turns out they’re getting both: 2013 will see the release of a ten episode fourth season that will precede a feature film.

Despite this great news, after so many years of discouragement and waiting, some fans were understandably skeptical about the chances of an Arrested Development return. Today, though, we got some proof: the first official image from the upcoming season has been released, featuring star Jason Bateman (as Michael Bluth) with late-night icons Conan O’Brien and Andy Richter.

Andy Richter, of course, famously appeared on Arrested Development in 2006, playing himself and his four (fictional) quintuplet brothers; Donnie, Chareth, Rocky, and Emmett. Apparently this time he’s brought along his boss, Conan, who has always been pretty good at doing self-deprecating portrayals of himself.  All in all, this new picture looks pretty promising, and should keep fans excited for the show’s unspecified spring 2013 debut.
