First Official Look At Megalyn Echikunwoke As Vixen On Arrow

A couple of nights back, Stephen Amell posted an image from the set of Arrow which gave us our first glimpse of Megalyn Echikunwoke (or Megalyn E.K. as she seems to be going by) as the live-action version of Vixen, but now we have an official still featuring the actress in full costume as the DC superheroine.

E.K. voiced the animated incarnation of Vixen on the CW Seed’s miniseries, so this marks the first time an actor has gone on to play a character in live-action after first bringing them to life in cartoon form. We still don’t know how Mari McCabe will be introduced on the show or if she’ll be fully Tantu Totem-powered from the start – but this image certainly suggests that at least some of her animal-based abilities are going to be on display.

Megalyn E.K. will make her debut as Vixen in episode 14 of Arrow’s fourth season, which airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
