Actor Stephen Amell today took to Twitter to give fans a (very) up-close-and-personal glimpse at tonight’s all-new episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. In the picture (check it out below), Amell dons the graying goatee of the elderly-ish Oliver Queen.

Tonight’s episode of the superhero team-up show was hinted at during the finale of last week, when the team crash landed in a city with a Smoak skyscraper that White Canary (Caity Lotz) quickly discerned as Star City. This time, the gang is in the future – 2046 to be exact – and will quickly stumble across the wrinkling, but still agile, Oliver Queen in his Green Arrow garb.

Here’s an official synopsis of tonight’s episode:

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow 1×06 “Star City 2046” – guest starring Stephen Amell – When a malfunction sends the Waverider crashing into 2046 Star City, our heroes face a startling version of their own future where they never stop Savage (guest star Casper Crump) and never return home. The city is in ruins and overrun by criminals, which thrills Rory (Dominic Purcell). Sara (Caity Lotz) is despondent over the destruction of her home and stunned when she learns what happened to her old friend, Oliver Queen (guest star Stephen Amell).

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has been a burst of fun so far this season (especially in comparison to the somewhat sluggish pace of Amell’s own series, Arrow), but the team has so far only visited past eras in the 1970’s and 80’s. It should be interesting to see what the writers do when the group is faced with a terrifying possible future scenario in their own backyard of Star City.

Get ready for “Star City 2046” tonight on The CW, and relish in the glory of Old Man Oliver below.
