Set to kick off this time in the seventies, the show will once more find Jon Hamm leading the exceptional ensemble cast as they dally with the stresses and strife of modern (well, it is to them) life.

We last left them off at the close of 1969 when last year’s first ‘final eight’ episodes debuted, and, as is the case with changing times, this shift into a new epoch will bring new opportunities for the characters; in particular, their own personal styles. The best, and possibly most humorous example has to be the advent of sideburns.

Boasting an expansive cast, including January Jones, Vincent Kartheiser, Elisabeth Moss, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Aaron Staton, Rich Sommer, Christopher Stanley, Jessica Paré, Jay R. Ferguson, Kevin Rahm, Kiernan Shipka and Mason Vale Cotton, Mad Men will return for its final season on April 5th.
