The poster for season six of Dexter was released today by Showtime and all I can say is, I canât wait until October.
In case you missed the trailers that have aired, the upcoming season seems to show the title character exploring the subject of religion. This new poster expands on the topic by showing Dexter in a prayer position with a knife between his hands and blood-spattered wings behind him.
Heâs also been given the nickname âThe Avenging Angel.â It looks a tad bit creepy, but also gives the sense that the writers havenât lightened up on the dark tones of the show.
The theme of Dexter finding God and the guest appearances by Edward James Olmos, Colin Hanks and Mos just keep piquing my interest. Itâs been a fairly good run for the series thus far and it looks to continue with season six.
Dexter returns to Showtime on October 2nd at 9:00P.M. ET on Showtime. Check out the new poster and trailer below.
