Seeing as the android remained dead by the end of Avengers: Endgame, though, we know something isn’t quite right about this picture. The official art for the show was distributed at D23 this weekend and has now leaked online. Following on from those descriptions of WandaVision as possessing a kind of demented 50s sitcom vibe, the poster – seen below – depicts Wanda and Vis as an apparently perfectly normal husband and wife of the era. However, the peculiar shadow on the wall behind them hints that the real world will break through the illusion that Scarlet Witch has created.

So, what does this poster tell us? Well, for one, it may indicate that Bettany will spend much of the show in his own skin and not in his Vision get-up. Secondly, the shape of that shadow could be a clue that Wanda will be getting her comic-accurate costume, or at least her pointed headpiece. Olsen has previously revealed that Scarlet Witch will finally earn her superhero name in the series, so it makes sense she’d get the right threads, too.

Of course, WandaVision will also feature a strong supporting cast of familiar characters. Thor‘s Kat Dennings and Ant-Man and the Wasp‘s Randall Park will be reprising their roles as Darcy Lewis and Jimmy Woo, respectively, and Teyonah Parris is joining the franchise as the adult Monica Rambeau from Captain Marvel. Kathryn Hahn will also appear as “a nosy neighbor.”

Filming is expected to start on WandaVision later this year before it arrives on the streaming service in early 2021. Remember, this will directly lead in to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, also featuring Olsen, so it’ll definitely be one to watch.
