Logan may be the next big superhero movie on the way, but once that reaches theaters this weekend, Iron Fist looks set to grab the attention of fans come March 17th. All thirteen episodes of the Marvel series will hit Netflix in one go as we’re finally introduced to the fourth Defender.

The online streaming service has smartly promoted Iron Fist so far, showing off footage which seemingly comes from the earliest episodes. As a result, anticipation is at an all-time high to see more of Finn Jones’ Danny Rand in action as he utilizes the power of the mystical Iron Fist. Thankfully, we get a taste of that in the new images above, as the hero goes to war against some mysterious baddies alongside Colleen Wing and the returning Claire Temple.

During a recent interview, Jones had this to say about how the world perceives Danny upon his surprise return:

“Danny has to deal with society’s reaction. He comes back and says: ‘Hey, guess what? I’ve been in this place called K’un Lun for years, I’ve got this thing called the Iron Fist and I met a dragon!’ And everybody’s like, ‘What the [frick] are you talking about? You’re insane.’”

That mention of a dragon is particularly interesting, especially as the comic books featured Danny having to plunge his fist into the heart of an actual dragon to get his powers. Will Iron Fist tackle that in flashbacks? We don’t know just yet, of course, but it would be pretty damn cool to see play out, don’t you think?

Tell us, what are you most looking forward to seeing happen in Iron Fist? As always, feel free to share your thoughts with us down below.
