“We’re so happy to create a program with the express goal of putting people to sleep. This show has actually been a dream of mine for a while. Story time is a nighttime staple in our home and is a daily reminder of the power of storytelling.”

Maximum Effort invested in the platform, so Reynolds has plenty of skin in the game, even if it’s a bizarre first foray into the partnership. That being said, if you’re not at least curious to see Deadpool regaling the world with beloved children’s tales in the most comfortable and relaxing setting possible, then you may well be dead on the inside.

It’s entirely self-explanatory on every level, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be appointment viewing. If you ever find yourself struggling to sleep, then Bedtime Stories with Ryan seems to be the ideal way to make it happen, unless of course it’s all part of some marketing masterplan that isn’t quite what it seems on the surface.
