There isn’t much information to go on at the moment, but Sam Raimi just dropped an interesting bombshell during the Screen Gems panel in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con. He was there to talk about the film adaptation for The Last Of Us, but let slip that he’s currently writing an Evil Dead TV show with Bruce Campbell.

As far as what the show will be about, who else is involved, how it will tie into the films, or when and where we might eventually see it… we have no idea. However, this is the kind of story that does not go unnoticed, so we should expect to hear some details about the project soon. After all, that’s all anyone’s going to want to ask Raimi and Campbell about now…

We’ll have more news on the Evil Dead TV show as it becomes available. For now, let us know your thoughts, predictions, and wishes for the series in the comments section below.
