Had you watched this past Monday’s episode of Gotham, then you’re fully aware that the Shaman succeeded at releasing the Alice Tetch virus on unsuspecting citizens, thereby making it a matter of time before the city goes nuts and tears itself apart. But before the League of Shadows can make their presence known, the dedicated folks at the GCPD will do all they can to avert catastrophe.
As we can see in the sneak peek embedded at the top, Lucius Fox brings news that there is, in fact, a possible cure to the virus, bringing much relief to Harvey Bullock and Jim Gordon – especially when you consider that the latter is currently infected. There’s just one problem, though: Hugo Strange, the man with the formula, is currently in the wind. Thus, the hunt begins.
While we do expect for most of Gotham City’s inhabitants to be cured, we’re not quite sure if things will go so well for Gordon himself. You have to admit, this does open the door for one crazy cliffhanger, something that could be further explored in season 4.
