Featuring Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) as the undisputed lead, Titans is scheduled to arrive on October 12th – almost four weeks after the DC Universe service boots online – and while it may feel like too long to wait, the good folks at SpoilerTV (h/t CBM) have relayed a series of HD photos pulled from the Titans premiere.

They’re about as stylish as we’ve come to expect from a superhero series that looks to be decidedly darker than its Arrowverse peers – think Supergirl, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow – so it’ll be interesting to gauge how fans react to Titans once it begins its rollout next month.

In order to get you up to speed, though, here’s a sneak preview of the show’s pilot episode:

From the off, you’ll immediately notice that, in Titans, Dick Grayson is a police officer, which ought to make for an intense (and internal!) struggle as Brenton Thwaites’ lead wrestles with his alter-ego playing judge, jury, and executioner, while his daytime persona must abide by the letter of the law. There’s also a new peek at the show’s supporting cast, including Starfire and The Flying Graysons before they were savagely gunned down.

Titans touches down on the DC Universe streaming service on October 12th – giving you just enough time to binge through the opening installments of The Walking Dead and Doctor Who‘s respective premieres, both of which are due to hit the airwaves on Sunday, October 7th.
