Stephen Amell Shares Arrow Season 8 Dialogue Teasing Crisis On Infinite Earths

Throughout this summer, it seems like we've been unable to stop talking about Arrow's eighth and final season and the upcoming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover. Then again, the two are inextricably linked, not to mention how news pertaining to each drops on a regular basis. As fans of DC TV ourselves, who are we to complain?

Throughout this summer, it seems like we’ve been unable to stop talking about Arrow‘s eighth and final season and the upcoming “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover. Then again, the two are inextricably linked, not to mention how news pertaining to each drops on a regular basis. As fans of DC TV ourselves, who are we to complain?

Doing his part as the unofficial ambassador of the Arrowverse, Stephen Amell has continued simultaneously delighting and confounding his followers on social media by offering up some dialogue taken directly from Arrow season 8’s premiere episode, “Starling City.”

Here’s what the Emerald Archer himself posted on Twitter, which is sure to fuel speculation:

“Dialogue from the Season 8 Premiere of Arrow:

If I let you help me, you will get hurt or you will get killed and it will be because of me.

You don’t know that.

I do know that.

#ACrisisIsComing”

Even though none of us have seen the premiere at this point, it’s probably safe to say the person reluctant to accept help is Oliver Queen. But when it comes to the other person taking part in the conversation, suspicion should be cast on Laurel Lance or John Diggle because both will factor into upcoming episodes.

But if you were to ask me which of those two I think had been talking to Ollie, I’d suspect Laurel. After all, her Earth-1 counterpart died in season 4, and I doubt our hero wants another Lance’s death weighing on his conscience. Plus, it’s already been hinted that she’ll join him on his adventures throughout the multiverse, so that’s another point in her favor.

Arrow returns with new episodes on Tuesday, October 15th on The CW.
