Stephen Amell Teases Supergirl’s Part Of Arrowverse Crossover With New BTS Photo

From the look of things, it shouldn't be much longer before The CW divulge plot details regarding this fall's major Arrowverse crossover, which has been intriguingly titled "Elseworlds." Set to introduce Ruby Rose as Batwoman and pay tribute to DC's line of books showcasing some of their biggest icons on radically different Earths in one fell swoop, whatever graces airwaves is sure to have us talking for months to follow.

For the most part, our certainty of some sort of synopsis being on the way is due to how the crossover is currently in the process of filming. In fact, Stephen Amell turned a lot of heads this afternoon by releasing a photo showing Tyler Hoechlin rocking a black Superman costume. Hey, if the movies won’t do it, then leave it to the TV side of things to make our dreams come true!

Now, one can only assume that behind-the-scenes shot came during Supergirl‘s portion of the shoot, but if not, we have something to share that definitely is. Also by way of Amell comes the following image that he dropped on Twitter.

Funny enough, Stephen captioned the picture with “Light and fluffy day on Supergirl,” though it looks like the sh*t is most definitely about to hit the fan. I mean, with those guns, knives and liquor bottles being part of the equation, one would certainly assume for some blood to spill.

Knowing that Amell is most likely playing a Green Arrow doppelganger of some sort during “Elseworlds,” I do wish to see him once again favoring a bow and arrow at some point. After all, the “Grey Gunman” or whatever else can immediately spring to mind just doesn’t seem as captivating.

This fall’s Arrowverse crossover begins on Sunday, December 9 with The Flash, continues on Monday, December 10 with Arrow, and wraps up on Tuesday, December 11 with Supergirl.
