In episode thirteen, titled “Both Sides Now,” Kara and the DEO capture another Kryptonian nasty known as Purity (Krys Marshall). However, things don’t go to plan and the villain escapes into National City’s subway. It looks like a tense battle between Purity and Supergirl then takes place – with the former even managing to trap our heroine in a headlock. Will Alex and Mon-El be able to help the situation, or can Kara get herself out of trouble?

Meanwhile, J’onn and Winn will help Mon-El and Imra fix the Legion’s ship. Which might be as easy as reusing some parts from a car engine, if one of the photos is any indication. Elsewhere, there appears to be some kind of confrontation between Lena Luthor and Sam. Is Lena about to find out that the ordinary single mom is actually Reign?

Time will tell, but for now, you can consult the official summary below for more.

THE DEO CAPTURES ANOTHER WORLDKILLER – The DEO captures a second Worldkiller, Purity (guest star Krys Marshall). Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Alex (Chyler Leigh) use very different methods of interrogation with Purity in the hopes of finding out how to defeat Reign (Odette Annable). However, Purity escapes and attacks the city’s subway tunnels. Meanwhile, J’onn (David Harewood), Winn (Jeremy Jordan) and Mon-El (Christopher Wood) band together to fix the Legion ship. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Jessica Queller & Paula Yoo (#313). Original airdate 2/5/2018.

Be sure to catch Supergirl “Both Sides Now” when it airs on The CW this Monday.
