If one element could be credited for the improvement, it’d have to be the addition of Ben Lockwood AKA Agent Liberty. Really, this guy has more depth to him than any previous big bad this show had called its own. Then again, you’re going to produce gold whenever you have someone like Smallville alum Sam Witwer bringing such great writing to life.

In addition to revealing the set of Lockwood’s new talk show, the gallery of images promoting this week’s episode, “Rather the Fallen Angel,” also shows the Maiden of Might teaming up with Manchester Black. And though one could argue the guy’s heart is in the right place, viewers have slowly been given hints of this fella being seriously bad news.

In fact, I’m wondering how much longer it’ll take for Kara and Manchester to diverge, as it’s bound to happen sooner or later. And if you’d like a quick primer on the character, then it’s recommended you pick up the animated movie Superman vs. The Elite, as he’s the main antagonist in said feature.

For more on “Rather the Fallen Angel,” be sure to check out the official synopsis:

Lena (Katie McGrath) kicks off her first set of trials. Chad Lowe directed the episode written by Dana Horgan & Katie Rose Rogers (#407). Original airdate 11/25/2018.
