Netflix’s latest original series, Marco Polo, marks a new kind of small screen venture, one that’s indicative of a European miniseries. Created by Jon Fusco, Marco Polo utilizes stunning locations (the show was shot in Malaysia, Kazakhstan and Italy) and detail-oriented cinematography to transport us to an exciting time period, one full of “betrayal, greed and sexual intrigue.”
