The story follows an extramarital affair unfolding between protagonists Aim and Lily, both of whom are trapped in unhappy relationships with their respective partners. Thanks to a mysterious camera phone that can make people disappear – which falls into the latter’s possession – the adulterous duo decide the best way to make use of their new supernatural gizmo is to get rid of their partners once and for all to start a new life together free from having to hide in the shadows.

If you can believe it, though, things aren’t quite as simple as that, with the ramifications stretching far beyond the seemingly-simple notion of pushing a button, making a person vanish into the ether of nothingness, and then carrying on as if they never existed in the first place. It’s a strong setup, and evidently one that’s got enough in the tank to hook viewers from the very start.
